CHIHUAHUAS

Picture
CHIHUAHUAS: Courageous and proud, the Chihuahua makes a great companion! They tend to be a little strong-willed and love to cling close to their owner. They love to lick, are intelligent, learn quickly, and need to be socialized at an early age. They may be nervous at times, so they need plently of tender loving care. They are busy bodies and make a great watch dog(they think they are a doberman). They will make a sweet, loving pet and usually live to be a ripe old age.

POMERANIANS

POMERANIANS: The Pomeranian is very lively and has a tremendous amount of energy! They, too, are very intelligent and loyal to their family. Poms have a tendency to bark at other dogs, but can be easily get along with other pets if introduced correctly. They are alert and curious and very independent. They hardly meet a stranger and have a wonderful, happy spirit that will make you laugh!

The Pomchi is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Pomeranian and the Chihuahua. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
